Employment discrimination encompasses a wide variety of issues ranging from what most people would consider discrimination to more complex problems ranging from equal pay for equal work to disability leave.
There is no aspect of employment discrimination claims Dan'L Bridges has not litigated: age, gender, race, disability, religion, pregnancy, and more complex issues such as the Family Medical Leave Act, the Equal Pay Act, and Section 1986 claims under Federal law for national origin discrimination. We have extensively litigated Washington's Law Against Discrimination (RCW 49.60), Title IV, and 42 USC 1983. Those types of claims have a wide variety of damages available ranging from emotional distress, lost wages, costs, and attorney fees.
These claims are complex and high risk. But we have litigated them all. For employers the risk is high and for employees there is the availability of large damages. As with many practice areas, we have represented both employers and employees successfully. This area of the law is an emphasis of Dan Bridges' practice.
